What is wellness coaching?

Wellness coaching uses a proven process, with proven techniques, in a focused way to help you create a wellness plan that works for you. It focuses on improving all areas of wellness including physical fitness, nutrition/dietary practices, weight, stress, health, and management of life issues that impact wellness. The process helps you to set goals, take action, and have a supporter and guide who will hold you accountable so you can reach these goals.

A wellness coach is someone who asks:
What do you want to achieve?
What are your health and wellness goals?
What motivates you to reach these goals?
Are you ready to take the steps for change?

A wellness coach enables change by focusing on a client's stated needs, values, vision, and goals and helping to bring out their personal best.

With encouragement and support, you can approach your vision with the commitment necessary to make significant changes in your life. We make it a point to become acquainted with you in order to understand your individual wants and needs.

When you utilize the wellness coaching services, we also extend referrals to medical and mental health professionals as needed.

Wellness Coaching Process

  1. Contractual agreement between coach and client outlining the commitment expected of both parties

  2. One-on-one confidential sessions for 30-45 minutes (bi)weekly, by telephone or in person, with a highly experienced and attentive certified wellness coach (initial consultation is for 90 minutes)

  3. Receive guidance, feedback, strategies, appropriate expert advice, positive reinforcement and a heightened level of awareness through coaching sessions

  4. Clear, simple and achievable goal-setting process

  5. Unlimited email, text messaging, instant messenger access with coach between sessions
